CellCradle is a porous gelatin microcarriers developed and operated by Luoyang Saiao Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The microcarriers is formed from medical grade gelatin through emulsification, pore creation, cross-linking and freeze-drying, with a surface area of approximately 9000cm2/g. CellCradle is in the form of a white flowable powder. The dry powder particle size can be customized to 50 to 500μm. It has a 20 to 30μm macroporous structure and provides a stable internal environment for cell adhesion and growth.

Application

The culture of cells difficult to adhere to walls such as mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), Vero cell serum-free culture, as well as serum-free and low-serum culture of adherent cell such as MRC-5 and 2BS diploid Cells.

 Features  

  • ◎ This type of carrier is a porous microcarrier structure. Both the interior of the carrier and the surface of the carrier can be used for cell adhesion. The adhesion area is about 9000cm2/g.
  • ◎  When culture MSCs cells, the maximum cell density is more than 2 times that of classic dextran microcarriers.
  • ◎  CellCradle carrier is made of medical high-grade gelatin material and can be degraded by trypsin and recombinant collagenase. The cell recovery rate is high, and the cell recovery rate can reach more than 90%.
  • ◎  It can be used for large-scale culture in the fields of cell therapy, exosome preparation, biopharmaceuticals and animal vaccines.
